This is the transfer cap only, shaker flasks are sold separately
- The cap features a built in hydrophobic membrane for enhanced gas exchange. This means the shaker flask can be place directly into an incubator, no need to change vessels.
- The external transfer tube features a T-junction with a one way Luer lock sampling valve. This allows small samples to be removed for testing. It also solves the problem of liquid remaining in the tubing after use. Simply attach a Luer lock syringe and draw off the excess liquid.
- A larger, barbed hydrophobic filter that can be attached to a vacuum or pump source.
